The association was born as a result of the experience of the project Specific Objects, an exhibition space experiment focused on the narration of the materials that belong to the generative phase of a work (sketches, drawings, studies, but also unfinished and abandoned)objects that tell the way an artistic practice proceeds, in its arrests and accelerations.
Thanks to this experimentation, Caterina Filippini, founder of Oggetti Specifici, in 2023 transformed her vision of design, looking for comparison with different professionals and opening up to a multidisciplinary perspective. Thus the group of the association is formed, composed of Anita Donna Bianco, Silvia Margaria, and Caterina Filippini.
The training and professional path of each component allows the project to act on multiple themes and fields, keeping alive the germinative focus that moved the intentions of Specific Objects and that now animates the design of Specific Projects: the “process”as space and time of growth, as experience of relationship between an inside and an outside, as productive movement with a rhythm that makes variability a methodology of action.
