Live performance of original music and sounds by Paolo Dellapiana and Alessandro Sciaraffa accompanying a selection of archival footage from the National Cinema Museum’s Cineteca in Turin. The projected images, conceived as an indirect connection to the “I Became a Forest” theme, constitute a narrative flow that unfolds from the seemingly mundane reality of an ordinary moment into a dreamlike journey through an imaginary realm filled with eccentricities, enthusiasms, disruptions, and playful altercations that, in their surreal and imaginative representation, eloquently depict the aspects of life.

“Live Archive” is a project dedicated to the dissemination of archival memory in dialogue with the contemporary, achieved through moments of sharing and knowledge of the preserved materials, with methods, themes, contexts, and languages dedicated and tailored to each occasion. The “Daydreaming” performance marks the first event in the Live Archive series.
