IBIDEM. Perpetual sources of inspiration
“IBIDEM. Perpetual sources of inspiration’ is an archive of bibliographic sources proposed by passionate readers, a space to explore personal biographies through the lens of literature. The bibliographic sources collected here come from people of all kinds and backgrounds, selected and involved to enrich the archive with new stories and perspectives. The bio-bibliographies are not just lists of books, but personal accounts that explore how literature can influence and shape our personal stories.
Every week, this digital space is enriched with new bio-bibliographies. Every Wednesday at 10.25pm, just like Luigi Silori’s literary TV programme ‘Books for Everyone’ in the 1960s, we publish two new bio-bibliographies on the dedicated Instagram page. We imagine this regular appointment as a lively meeting point for reading lovers, a precious reservoir of wisdom, inspiration and discoveries, which continues to be enriched with new perspectives every week.
The graphic design is by Saglietti, who has developed a dynamic and constantly changing format. The studio has deconstructed the traditional form of the bookmark, creating a unique design for each bibliography, which differs from the others not only in terms of structure, but also in terms of colour, creating a mosaic of shapes and shades that reflects the diversity and richness of the stories collected. In this way, each bibliography, while being a single entity, contributes to the creation of the lively and colourful mosaic that makes up the archive.
